Short, dense pile covers the whole front of the clip, in a pale shade that leans slightly blue. The handle is a rounded loop with a small gap in the middle, where a bit of the coil spring peeks through. Below it, the two sides cross over and run out into long, padded arms. Turn it over and you find smoky see-through teeth, slender and tapered, with a gold-tone spring at the hinge.

In the photos, the clip is shut lengthwise on chestnut-brown hair styled in a vertical roll. From behind, two fluffy loops meet over the middle of the roll, and the furry arms reach up and down from them.
