Find the right claw clip size

Start with length. For a full updo on thick hair, look for a clip around four inches or longer. Fine or shoulder-length hair is better served by a small or medium clip, which grips without sliding.

Then check the spring and the teeth: long teeth that overlap when the clip is closed have more hair to hold on to. Every product page lists the length of the clip and the hair it suits.

Match the clip to the amount of hair it has to hold. Thick or long hair needs a large or XL. Fine or shoulder-length hair suits a small or medium. If the first size is wrong, you have 14 days from delivery to ask for a return.
