This tortoise shell is streaked rather than spotted. Broad diagonal bands of dark chocolate brown cross a translucent amber base, with lighter honey tones showing between them. Where the amber is thin, light passes through it. The shape is our everyday medium clip: rounded grip tabs on top, a curved jaw and long teeth tipped with small beads.
